FAQ

How do you play Klondike Solitaire?
Build the four foundations up by suit from Ace to King. In the seven tableau columns you build down in alternating colours, so a red six goes on a black seven. Tap the stock to draw to the waste, and tap any face-up card to auto-move it to the best legal spot. Clear all 52 cards to the foundations to win.
How does tap-to-move work?
Tap a face-up card and the game sends it to the best legal spot: a foundation first if it fits, otherwise a tableau column. Tapping a card part-way down a column moves the whole valid run beneath it. No dragging, so it stays comfortable on a phone.
How are moves and your best score counted?
Every legal move adds one to the move counter, and the timer tracks how long the deal takes. Your best is the fewest moves you have ever used to win, so lower is better. It only records when you actually clear the table, and it is saved on your own device.
Does Solitaire cost anything or need an app?
No. This Klondike Solitaire is free, runs in any modern browser with no app, no download and no signup, and works offline. The cards are drawn entirely with CSS, and your best score stays private on your own device.
Solitaire is BestForAndroid's take on Klondike, the patience game almost everyone has played. It's the one you know: a stock and waste up top, four foundations to fill Ace to King, and seven columns to untangle. This version is tuned for thumbs, so a single tap sends a card to its best home with no fiddly dragging. It's free, needs no app or signup, works offline, and saves your best score privately on your own device.
